LEARNING® NAMES MARY SADEGHY DIRECTOR OF GLOBAL MARKETING
AND SALES
San Rafael,
Calif. -- April 17, 2001 -- Lucas Learning Ltd. international
developer and publisher of interactive entertainment and educational
software, today announced the appointment of Mary Sadeghy as Director
of Global Marketing and Sales.
Sadeghy will direct both domestic and international marketing
and sales activities of Lucas Learning products in addition to
managing corporate alliances and partnership strategies. Her marketing
focus will include product marketing, public relations, advertising
and promotions.
"The addition of Mary to lead our marketing and sales efforts
enhances the strength of our senior management group at Lucas
Learning," said Jane Boston, General Manager. "She arrives just
in time to help launch our first entertainment title on the PlayStation
2. We are excited about her passion for children's learning and
the breadth of experience as she joins us in developing new strategic
initiatives for the company."
Prior to joining Lucas Learning, Sadeghy was senior director marketing,
membership and promotions at Women.com, based in San Mateo, Calif.
At Women.com she was responsible for directing email marketing,
membership and promotions strategies. From 1997-1999 Sadeghy served
as a senior marketing director at Gap, Inc., San Francisco, Calif.;
and from 1993-1997 she was executive director of marketing at
Scholastic Entertainment, New York, NY.
